One thing we didn't do with Beyond Savings was assign serial numbers to each copy. Now that we've switched to web based registration, we do require you to write down 1 set of numbers and a text phrase for validation.

For this, you'll need your copy of Beyond Savings handy (actually the product box and the manual). Look on the bottom of the box for the barcode. There are two numbers associated with the bar code. The top number is the ISBN and the bottom is the UPC code that begins with a 6.

Write down the next 5 digits before the 0. In other words you want to jot down the numbers represented by the x's below.

The other part of your registration validation is from the manual. Look at the bottom of page 1 and write down the e-mail address listed. [NOTE: the e-mail address is not correct and is not listed on this site, and must be retrieved from the manual.]

Once you've written down this information, proceed to the registration page.
